Dr. Carol Govoni

Carol has been a practicing Physical Therapist since 2003 and specializes in general orthopedics. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1998 and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia / Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2003. She received additional certification training in 2006 specializing in the management of Lymphedema. She enjoys treating adults in the outpatient orthopedic setting, combining therapeutic exercise with hands-on manual therapy to achieve meaningful goals. She particularly enjoys shoulder rehabilitation and joint replacement therapy.

Carol was born and raised in Virginia. She is married and when not working she likes to spend time gardening, cooking, making pottery and sewing.
